Solange Knowles Steps Out in Style At Her First Post-Wedding Appearance
Solange Knowles is my girl crush. The singer-songwriter made her first official appearance since her glamorous New Orleans wedding at Art Basel in Miami last night.
Beyoncé’s sister looked absolutely marvelous in a bright yellow Christian Siriano pant suit. Solange performed several songs at the IWC Schaffhausen ”Timeless Portofino” gala event at W South Beach.
Solange kept her makeup minimal. The singer was giving her audience full on Diana Ross hair as her natural curls bounced free while she sang and danced.
When introducing her final number, “Losing You,” the singer told the crowd, “We’re all so blessed to be here at Art Basel. We all need to live in the moment and enjoy each day, live life to the fullest.”
The message to partygoers comes just one day after it was reported that Kelly Rowland’s mother, Doris Rowland Garrison, passed away earlier this week.
While Knowles was performing at the evening event, celebs like Emily Blunt, Adriana Lima, and James Marsden milled about, eager to start shopping the annual art show’s famed collection.
Solange was snapped multiple times throughout the four-day fest in her signature avant-garde looks that ranged from playfully dramatic to elegant minimalism. At the AD Oasis, Knowles went for sophistication with a textural white Tata Naka design, complete with an ivory M2Malletier hand-held clutch and embellished Paul Andrew sandals.
Later that night, Knowles assumed the role of DJ and spun at the Out of Order Part at Deauville Beach Resort in metallic teal asymmetric shift and white ruffled sandals.
The next day, she stepped out in a plunging crossover drape Camilla and Marc top with a white graphic sheer-paneled Jonathan Simkhai skirt, styling them with the same M2Malletier clutch, layered necklaces, and nude perforated Loeffler Randallmules. Sigh! I’m in love……
